Delete your HoloWild account

This page explains how to delete your account and data in the HoloWild app (developer: HoloWild), what is deleted, and what is kept.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open HoloWild and sign in.
2. Go to the Account tab.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Type the confirmation word shown on screen and tap Delete my account.

If you can no longer open the app, email support@holowild.app from the email address you signed in with and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm when it is done.

Deleting your account does not cancel a Pro subscription. Cancel it in the App Store (Settings > your name > Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions).

What is deleted

• Your account details: email address, name and the sign-in identifiers from Apple or Google. Your account record is anonymised immediately and can no longer be signed in to.
• All your cards: the original photos you uploaded, the generated card files, and the identification, shooting time and place saved with each card are deleted immediately.
• Your private notes on cards.
• Public links: every card you published stops working immediately.

What is kept, and for how long

• Card records without your identity (for example the number of cards created) are kept in anonymised form for statistics.
• Records of App Store and Google Play subscription transactions are kept for up to 12 months for accounting, refunds and fraud prevention.
• Server security logs are kept for a limited period, at most 12 months.
• Encrypted database backups are overwritten within 30 days.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can delete a single card in the app: open the card, tap the ⋯ menu and choose Delete. Its public link stops working immediately, and its photos and 3D files are permanently deleted within 30 days. Uploaded photos that were never turned into a card are deleted within 7 days.
